Policies & Disclaimers
-
Our idols are 100% eco-friendly and extremely fragile; therefore, we advise all our customers to handle them with extreme care. Once a murti leaves our premises, the Eco-Friendly Ganapati team is no longer responsible for any damages that may happen during the idol’s unpacking, handling, or decorating.

-
When customers come to pick up their idols, each idol is packed individually in a box that fits its size. Each idol box includes instructions on safe and careful opening of the package. We ask all customers to follow these instructions with great care as our idols are extremely fragile and easily susceptible to damage due to pressure, pulling or jerking.

-
All purchases made at Eco-Friendly Ganapati are final, non-returnable, and non-refundable. At the time of pick up, we may offer to exchange an idol with a bigger size and ask for the customer to pay the difference; alternatively, we may also offer to exchange an idol with a smaller size and return the difference to the customer. Both offers will depend on idol availability and will only be extended if the idol initially selected by the customer is still in our possession.

-
In the event that an idol breaks, we welcome our customers back to make another selection. We are also happy to do the “Visarjan” of the damaged murti. Customers will have to pay the full price of the second murti.

-
Due to the fragile nature of the idols, we do not ship the idols by mail/post. We prefer that customers carry the idols by road in their cars for stability. If a customer is insistent on having an idol shipped to them, it will be the customer’s responsibility to pay for the shipping costs. We have not had the best experience with shipping idols in the past, so we prefer not to do this.
