Eco-Friendly Ganapati

Our Story: Our family has been celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi for many decades, and after moving across the globe to Canada, we missed the traditions and fanfare of the festival. When we moved to Calgary, we connected with the extremely welcoming Marathi community and met several families that celebrate this festival with devotion, zeal, and passion. We genuinely believe that such celebrations reinforce our connections to our rich traditions and heritage and bring the community together as we pass on our culture to future generations.

To serve our community, we bring Eco-Friendly Ganapati Murtis so others can celebrate this wonderful festival like they would if they were back home in India. We are dedicated to providing environmentally conscious Ganapati idols for festivals across Calgary, Okotoks, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Chestermere, and High River.​

Mission: At Eco-Friendly Ganapati, we promote sustainability while honouring cultural traditions. We provide communities with beautiful Ganapati Murtis embodying our profound devotion and positively contributing to the environment. Our meticulously crafted Ganapati Bappa Murtis are made from shadu mati and/or paper pulp that minimize environmental impact. Our Murti sizes range from 6 to 21 inches and come in various designs that are sure to appeal to our customers' diverse choices.

Community Engagement: Our family undertakes this activity every year, keeping in mind the true spirit of social service, which is the fundamental concept of this festival. In an effort to give back to this wonderful community, our family donates the proceeds from the sale of Bappa Murtis to a few causes of our choice, such as local food banks and charities that directly support initiatives we admire and respect.
